The Final
Unfortunately, plans to hold a party after the final have had to fall by the wayside due to the problems in getting a music license and most acts working during the peak season, however we intend to carry on and hopefully at the next round of the competition, time will be more on our side.
Any towns wishing to host the competition should get in touch with us asap so that the plans can be made for next years tournaments.
The teams for the final have been confirmed on the 9th August.

During the fiesta at La Marina, 4 chlidrens teams took part in the one off special.

The children were extremely competitive and in many ways managed to outlast the adults on some of the games. on the pole joust some pretty good acrobatics by the kids meant they stayed on the pole much longer the adults, the whole event was once again filmed by Viva Tv and will make great viewing. Be sure to tune in when it airs in October.
With the arrival of many tourists the final promises to be an exciting ending to this hard fought competition.
The final winners of the kids event was the superkids who just pipped man utd in the grand national relay. photos of the event will be added soon.
Fourth Event Completed
Once again although a shortage of teams we had a head to head battle with NRG and Howards Gym, from which Howards gym emerged victorious. Despite only 2 teams being able to make the event, everyone who attended had a great time and said how much they enjoyed taking part and looked forward to the final.
Third Event
Sadly due to the lack of teams there wasn't a winner from the third event, but that doesn't stop things heading for the final
Second Event Completed
Due to unforeseen circumstances only 2 teams took part in the event but even that didn't dampen spirits as a huge amount of fun was had by all who participated, After a hard fought evening, CF La Marina emerged victorious, Congratulations to the team who will be going forward to the grand final on august the 9th, This event saw a slight alteration to one of the races which now included the sumo suits as part of the bungee relay.
Don't forget that all our events are being filmed by VIVA Tv to be aired in the autumn on Telemicro. The photos from the day are now on the photos page as a slideshow, check them out.
More Teams Please
More teams are needed for weeks 3 and 4 so if you can get at least 6 members willing to have a great time contact us as soon as possible please.
Rodeo Bull
Richard and John have secured the use of a mechanical rodeo bull for the entertainment of spectators for each of the remaining 5 weeks, be sure to come down and have a go, (cowboy hat optional)

Sol TV Interview
John and Richard have had an interview with Sol Today which will be broadcast on Monday 14th July, Be sure to tune in to ITV 1 at 7pm to view it.
First Event Completed. 5/7/08
The First of our heats was completed on Saturday and was a great success, a great time was had by both competitors and spectators alike, with some unexpected visitors dropping in like the Trafico Helicopter which landed on the market place and gave the children a great chance to view the aircraft up close and personal.
The winners of this Heat, Trotters Independent Trading are the first of our teams to go forward to our grand final.
Close runners up were the Final Whistle Team who are still in the running on points to also go through.
Photos will be appearing on this site very soon of the event and don't forget the whole event was filmed by VIVA Tv who will be broadcasting in September.
